Christopher Frauenberger is Director – Head of Asset Management for Star America Infrastructure Partners, LLC. He joined Star America in 2016, transitioning from a career in civil engineering. His responsibilities include management of portfolio investments, working with project teams to address issues and identify opportunities, performing investment valuations and reporting, and regular reporting to Star America’s s executive team and investors.  Mr. Frauenberger also services as an active staff member of portfolio company teams on occasion. He is an alternate manager to the board of managers for the Concessionaires for the Portsmouth Bypass project, and an observer to the board of managers for the Concessionaires for the SH-288 project. Prior to serving as the Head of Asset Management, Mr. Frauenberger was an Associate on the Investment Team and was responsible for the structuring and closing of Star America’s Howard County Circuit Courthouse project and worked on several other pursuits. Mr. Frauenberger also leads ESG implementation and reporting efforts, and he provides support for various marketing and business-related initiatives.

Previously, Mr. Frauenberger interned at Corality Financial Group, where he assisted in developing and auditing project finance models for large infrastructure and energy transactions. Additionally, he worked for six years as a structural engineer focusing on large U.S. transportation projects at STV Incorporated and Michael Baker International. 

He holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Drexel University.
